She'll Get Over the Thunderstorm

I was born to be a thunderstorm

To break darkness with my light

Fearful of what others may think

So I tend to make my lightning strike.

Often deceived as a negative output

Because I act out of anger to despise my emotions

And unable to express my rainy days.

Hoping the world was with you, but

the world ran for cover, when you made landfall.

Finally erupting, after holding it in for so long,

They’ll look at you as a bad person to disguise their faults.

I was born to be a thunderstorm.
